As I hinted at yesterday, I’m preparing for something REALLY exciting next week: my first blog conference! Tuesday, I’m headed to Salt Lake City for the Altitude Summit, and I could not be more excited (and nervous. and behind on packing. and all of the above).
I was invited to be an Alt Summit speaker as part of a panel with two awesome bloggers who also have their MBAs – Camille from Friday We’re In Love and Reachel from The Cardigan Empire – about the Business of Blogging. Since we all have jobs in various aspects of marketing, our unique skills really complement each other and I think it will be a great session! I get to show my nerdy side as I talk about SEO, brand relationships, etc…so that will be fun.
I feel so “small” compared to the other Alt Summit speakers, though, so it will be humbling experience! There are so many “greats” that I know I’ll learn a ton from. And the Alt Summit keynote speaker is Martha Stewart – like what?!
The sponsors are also incredible (and I get to go to The Melting Pot with one of them Tuesday night – ahh!), and even more exciting is the opportunity to build relationships with other bloggers.
