StoryWorth Review: A Meaningful, Timeless Christmas Gift

Lately I have been thinking more and more about how I want to treasure time with people more. Hudson and I each lost one of our grandpas in the past month, which has really motivated us to think more about living with an eternal perspective and appreciating our short time here on earth.

I know I won’t have forever with my parents and the grandparents I still have here on earth and I can’t imagine life without them. Even though I know I will see them again in heaven sometime, just mentioning that makes me want to cry. But I really want to appreciate the time I have with them. And one of the things I love the most is hearing their stories. Stories of their childhood, insight on the things they value, and their life advice has been such an inspiration to me and makes me love them even more.

With Christmas coming next month (how is Christmas next month already?! this year has flown by!), I wanted to write again about one of my favorite gifts: StoryWorth. This StoryWorth review can be summed up into this: StoryWorth is one of the most meaningful, timeless gifts you can get for your family members – and honestly its even more so a gift for yourself! :)

Buying product-based gifts is fun, but StoryWorth is one of those keepsakes that our family already treasures and will continue to treasure forever! My sister got it for my grandma two years ago and we still talk about how it’s made us appreciate her even more and it something we’ll forever be able to look back on.

Ok so what is StoryWorth? It’s a subscription that emails the gift recipient a question about their life once a week for a year. Those questions can be either manually written by you, chosen from the hundreds of thoughtful questions StoryWorth has prewritten, or a combination of both.

When the gift recipient receives the question email, all they have to do is reply with their story! It’s super user-friendly, and the best part is that you can select people who will receive that email response and can respond back and forth about it! It’s really fun getting to read the stories as they write them. It makes it nice that you are only reading one story a week and can take the time to really appreciate it and respond. Like I said, it’s really a gift to the entire family and has brought my family a lot closer together!

And tied for the best part is that, at the end of the year, all of the stories are printed in a beautiful hardcover book. My grandparents have so many stories that we’ve always told them they should write a book – but this makes it much easier to do just one a week instead of having to do it all at once. Instead of feeling like she needed to find the time to sit down and work on her book, my grandma said she really enjoyed receiving and responding to the emails each week, and StoryWorth allowed her to do something she always wanted to do! Once the year is completed, StoryWorth compiles all the stories (and responses, if you’d like) into a beautiful bound book that you can add pictures to and look back on! The subscription comes with one book but allows you to purchase additional books if desired.

If you are looking for a meaningful Christmas gift for your family, I highly recommend StoryWorth. I am so grateful for the memories it has captured, and I know we will forever treasure my grandma’s keepsake book! If after reading this StoryWorth review you want to gift a subscription to someone in your family, you can use this link to order!
