Why WE'RE TRAVELING TO EVERY COUNTRY

“Think of the stories you want to tell someday, then go out and live them.”

This is our life quote, which used to be just a fun reminder to not wait for the next life stage or promotion to start making the most of life. But 10 years ago, Hudson’s dad – who was one of our biggest encouragers – died of a heart attack. One day we were planning a ski trip with him, the next we got a call that he’d passed away in his sleep.

This was a life-changing moment for us to remember that we literally aren’t even guaranteed tomorrow and we want to make the most of each day. We love meeting new people and experiencing different cultures around the world – and we don’t want to wait until it’s too late.

5TH
GRADE

WE MET

on a field trip to a sewage plant, so romantic! :) Over the years, we became good friends and then started dating in high school.

2012

WE GOT MARRIED

+ moved to DC, where we saved for our dream of visiting the 50 states.

2017-
2018

WE RVED THE 50 STATES

in an old RV off Craigslist! And fell in love with travel.

NOW

WE'RE TRAVELING TO EVERY COUNTRY

+ are so grateful for the incredible people we’ve met, experiences we’ve had, and what we’ve learned along the way.

No matter the ups and downs, we want to always remember to just enjoy the journey – and we’re excited to see where that leads!
