I hate coffee, but I love Starbucks! For some reason I have never gotten used to the taste of coffee, but that hasn’t stopped me from falling in love with the Starbucks experience.
The first thing I notice when I walk into a Starbucks is the awesome smell. I may not like the taste of coffee, but I sure do love the smell. I love how each store is designed to be so welcoming and environmentally friendly (the free WiFi is always a nice touch, too!)
On top of the welcoming atmosphere, Starbucks has some of my favorite drinks (even for a non coffee lover). My go-to drinks are their Strawberries & Cream Frappuccino, Caramel Apple Spice, and Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate.
Even though I love the Starbucks atmosphere, there are times when I am craving a drink, but can’t make it to the store.
Lately we have been getting a lot of snow here in Maryland. One of my favorite things to do on a snow day is to snuggle up, sip hot chocolate, and watch the snow fall. But on those cold snowy days, the days that I want it the most, I can’t drive to the Starbucks to pick up a hot chocolate!
But this February, right before we had a big snowstorm, Starbucks sent Hudson and I a “Cozy Collection” which came with a special blanket, a mug, Starbucks Classic and Salted Caramel K-Cups, marshmallows, and shortbreads. This made for the perfect snow day date! The Starbucks K-cup pods allowed us to stay warm and safe inside, but still be able to enjoy that one-of-a-kind Starbucks hot chocolate flavor. And now that Starbucks is offering Classic Hot Cocoa and Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa in pretty much every grocery store it is so easy to be able to stock up for those cold, winter nights!
Both of the hot cocoa options are made with real chocolate and are so easy to make! They taste just as good as ordering hot cocoa in the store (it sort of makes me feel like a professional barista ;)
The K-cups also make the perfect early morning drink to help warm me up before heading to work in the morning, A lot of times I am in such a rush that I don’t have time to make it to Starbucks, but now I can enjoy a Starbucks drink from the convenience of my own apartment!
The Starbucks Classic Hot Cocoa and Salted Caramel Hot Cocoa K-cups would make the perfect date night gift this winter too! (maybe Hudson will get my hint ;)
