I can’t believe it’s November already!
Last Tuesday we went to a Jason Derulo concert and it was SO good. He’s a great singer and performer…I would have to say it was one of my favorite concerts ever!
Hudson was yet again one man out of hundreds of screaming females, poor guy. Take a look at the photo below I captured of someone holding up their hands in a heart in front of Jason Derulo. It’s hilarious!
Hudson has been busy with schoolwork and we felt like we hadn’t really spent quality time having fun together in a while, so last night we had a fun date idea: a blow dart war! Haha. We were acting like little kids running around…I highly recommend this fun date idea if you have a free evening! Here’s how we set everything up:
1. Hudson bought thin PVC pipes and cut them into 2.5 foot-long sticks for our “guns.”
2. We each had our own container of blow darts.
3. We set up two targets about 10 feet away, facing each other. The “targets” were five blow darts standing up in a line, each about six inches apart.
4. We put a chair behind each target as a shield :)
And here’s how the game worked:
1. We played Pandora in the background, and each “round” lasted two songs.
2. You could shoot either your target or the other person :)
3. At the end of the two songs, the winner was the person who knocked down the most blow darts from their target! And one time Hudson knocked all his down before the songs were over, so he was obviously the winner then.
4. At the end of each round, the winner got a free shot at the loser!

This weekend, we are headed to a marriage conference in Pittsburgh. Our friends got us free tickets and I am really excited about it! I hope it is a great weekend of learning from the speakers, and pray that through it we continue to grow in our relationship with each other and with God.
