Remember when I shared about Sears wanting to give more to you?
Another part of that is the “Reserve It” service they just launched, where you can shop online and reserve items to try on online clothes before purchasing! This is revolutionary, people!!
Let me give you an example…let’s say I wanted to buy a new pretty dress for Christmas. I much prefer shopping online because it’s easy to see all the colors and sizes available, and makes the search process quicker instead of going on a crazy hunt for the perfect A-line sparkly silver dress.
HOWEVER, I really value trying things on before I buy them. Just because a dress comes in my size doesn’t mean it will fit me perfectly, you know?! So what’s the solution? With Sears’ Reserve It, I can browse items online and put them on hold, then go to the store and Sears will have my hand-picked items ready and waiting for me to try on! It’s too easy!!
Here’s a little three-step process of how to do this:
1. Log in to Sears.com and select your local Sears store to see what the assortment of products that are available.
2. Choose the product, size, and style you want and select “Reserve In Store.” You’ll receive an email notification when the items are ready to try on. Sears will hold your items for 48 hours.
3. When you arrive at the store, go to the Reserve It rack located in the women’s apparel section, try on online clothes in-store, and then check out as you normally would!
What I love about this is that again, Sears understands their customers. They know that time is precious, especially during the holiday season. Why spend hours in the mall searching for gifts when you can quickly browse online and then pick them up on your way to work after seeing the items in-person? This combines the aspects we love about shopping — touching/trying on items — with our crazy world of wanting things quickly and immediately. It’s almost 2015, why can’t we have both?!
