Seriously. There’s just something so fun about getting dressed up to get pictures taken with my handsome man (shoutout to the fabulous Caroline Logan Photography for always making us look 100x better than real life), writing a little recap of our year, and choose the perfect design for that year.
We always love ordering our cards from Shutterfly! Here are last year’s! Every year I say that I love my Shutterfly Christmas cards even more than the last, but this year is my absolute favorite :)
I was SO excited when I came home to see two bright orange Shutterfly boxes on our doorstep! It was a very happy mail day, and today I’m excited to give you a sneak peek of how everything turned out!!
Let’s start with the outside. Because first impressions matter ;) I love that Shutterfly has colored envelope options to make your card stand out from all the other junk mail in the mailbox! It’s a great way to share happiness from the moment someone sees your card :)
And then let’s talk about the custom address labels and STAMPS! Whoever knew that you can put your own photo on a stamp? Feeling like a celebrity here! It’s such a cool way to personalize the card and give a little peek of what’s to come on the inside :)
Now a look at inside the envelope…Shutterfly offers THE coolest envelope liners!! I love how the red and white “Merry Christmas” envelope liners we ordered coordinate so well with the envelope AND the card itself.
We went with a foil stamped Christmas card again this year because I absolutely loved our ones last year. And this one sure did not disappoint! The matte finish of the paper with the foil text gives it such an elegant touch. Here’s a look at the back of the card…I like that Shutterfly has many different layout options so, whereas with last year we went with another full-size photo on the back, this year we opted for a smaller photo to make room for more text. It’s so simple to create your card with the amazingly user-friendly website Shutterfly has created!
Alsoooo, Shutterfly released THE COOLEST new card designs this year – ornament cards! What a neat idea to send to family members – especially ones across the country who you aren’t able to spend Christmas with :( – to hang on their tree or around the house. When I saw the ornament cards, I knew I had to order some! They are SO creative and cute!!
I literally wish I could order every.single.thing off of Shutterfly’s website. They have such creative Christmas card option and give Hudson and I a unique way to send personalized Christmas greetings to our friends and family!
