Happy Monday! Does your work office have a Keurig? If so, what do you think are the best k cup flavors?
I love my office’s Keurig. On the (too many) cold mornings this past winter, one of my favorite ways to start my day was to brew hot apple cider. But one thing I didn’t know until recently is that Keurigs can create more than hot drinks – they’ve expanded into “Brew Over Ice” drinks. SO perfect for summer!
I went to Walmart and purchased, in my now new opinion, the two best k cup flavors: Strawberry Pomegranate Vitamin Burst and Snapple Raspberry Iced Tea.
They were DELICIOUS! I found that these iced tea flavors taste best on the 6oz (small) or the 8oz (medium) setting. Here’s a video for how to brew over ice, if you need it.
I dressed up my iced tea with different fruits to add even more flavor. For the Strawberry Pomegranate iced tea, I even froze strawberries and put them in my drink as “ice cubes!” It was SO good.
Did you know that Keurig has it’s own recycling program for K-Cups? Through the Grounds To Grow program, you can return used cups and they’ll separate grounds for compost and plastics for re-use. Learn more here.
