WOW it is so hard to believe it is already November!! 2.5 weeks until it’s Thanksgiving and 7 until it’s Christmas – so crazy. The holiday season is such a wonderful time spent with family and friends, but it also can be stressful, so I try to do what I can to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Let’s be honest, I plan on going for a second (and third) helping of mashed potatoes, so where I can, I try to be healthy!
A big part of that is by taking essential vitamins and supplements. As I’ve previously shared, my great-grandma was very intentional about taking her vitamins, and she really motivated me to do the same. She lived a long, healthy life and so much of that is because she really put the effort into understanding her body and “feeding” it what it needed.
Some of her favorites were:
- Fish Oil – helps support a healthy heart
- Vitamin C – helps support the immune system
- Vitamin D3 – supports bone, teeth, muscle and immune health
Hudson and I found Vitamin C to be especially helpful in our lives recently; we both got colds and started regularly taking Nature Made® Vitamin C!
