It is that time of year again where the leaves are changing, a chill is in the air, and pumpkin flavored food is everywhere. These things can only mean one thing, its football season!!! Having spent the past 4 years living around the DC area I quickly realized that around the start of fall more and more people start to wear burgundy and gold (the colors of the Washington Redskins).
Wanting to show some support to our local team and get in on this fun fall fashion I went online to NFLShop.com to search for some women’s Redskins gear. To be honest I was only expecting to find guy’s jerseys but was really surprised to find a large selection of cute girls clothes! There was a wide variety of styles and options from jerseys to jackets and hoodies and hats (they even had several different pairs of really cute leggings!) The hardest part was narrowing down my top favorites! There is such a wide and varied selection to choose from which is great to help you be able to support your favorite team while still being able to rock your own style! Another great idea is to shop based on the occasion. You can choose a warm, cozy jacket for game day or a cute tank top to wear to the gym. Here are two of the outfits I picked to sport the Redskins colors.
Wearing the Redskins clothing is cute, fun, and a great way to feel a part of the local spirit! And I realized that owning some Redskins clothing makes me more excited for game day! I enjoy sitting beside Hudson and cheering the Redskins on extra much (plus it is a great excuse to dress cute on a Sunday afternoon ;) It really doesn’t matter whether you are a diehard fan, a big game only watcher, or if you just like the team’s colors. Wearing your local team’s colors is a great way to show your pride and support!
