As I’ve previously shared, bringing elements of home into our RV was important to me. More than just renovating our RV to make it look pretty, I wanted to make it feel like a home. So I brought along some of our favorite home decor, such as our “Home is Wherever I’m With You” wooden wall quote. <3 And I also added some more home decor that was both beautiful and functional for the RV.
Ballard Designs was my go-to source for this. Their style fits ours so well and really captures the authenticity that we were hoping to achieve with the renovation. I love that their About page says “Your home is an oasis, a place to make memories and express who you really are.” – that couldn’t capture what we were looking for any better!
The Ballard Designs website is a great source for beautiful home furnishings and decor, as well as inspiration for transforming your decorating ideas into reality. I could have spent hours on their site – their blog, HowToDecorate.com, provides ideas galore of simple ways to transform your home! My goal was to revolutionize our dated living space and achieve a brand new, personalized look by using quality products from outstanding companies like Ballard Designs.
I started with this beautiful gray Ballard Signature Bath Rug – the old bath rug was the first thing I removed from RV when we purchased it, followed by the old mattress and pillows. Ballard’s down alternative pillows are so plush and cozy, and it’s so nice to be sleeping on new ones! :)
But the thing I love the most from Ballard Designs is their home decor bins and baskets. We have these braided jute baskets in our desk and pantry areas.
Then, we used a collection of their storage bins in our closet drawers, and they really help separate the clothes and maximize the space.
Ballard Designs has thousands of beautiful furniture and home decor products that are perfect for homes and motorhomes alike. :) My other favorites of theirs include this marble corner shelf, dinnerware collection, and Sunbrella tablecloth.
