Megabus.com Breast Cancer Foundation Partnership

I always love hearing about companies that are paying it forward to charitable organizations.

Today, Megabus.com – the company that offers express bus service to more than 100 cities across North America – is donating $1 for every bus ticket sold to support the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF). They typically sell an average of 20,000 tickets daily, which means up to $20,000 might be donated!

This is such a neat thing for them to do. Although I am so thankful that cancer has not impacted an immediate family of mine or Hudson’s, we know many people who are going through cancer treatments and it is just heartbreaking to see these beautiful, joyful people have to struggle with such a horrible disease. More than ever this year, after the death of Hudson’s dad, I have been aware of how quickly life as we know it can be taken from us – and it breaks my heart to see so many people hurting.

That’s why I think what Megabus.com is doing is especially neat! I pray that their money will be used to further cancer treatments and ultimately help heal women who are diagnosed with breast cancer.

To kick off their effort, Megabus.com company executives and Breast Cancer Research Foundation leadership will be taking breast cancer survivors and their loved ones to New York City, aboard a new custom pink and BCRF branded Megabus! Here’s a sneak peek of what it looks like – so cute!

I encourage you to buy a ticket today to support the cause, and join me in praying for those around the world who have cancer.
